Good hand speed can be the difference between landing your own strike or ending up on the wrong end of a punch yourself. So how does Roman Fury speed up his strikes?
This hand speed drill is designed to hasten your combos and increase your attacking output with flurries of punches in combinations of your choice.
SESSION TIME |
30 second intervals with weights, followed by 30 second intervals without weights, followed by a 60 second rest before repeating. |
METHOD |
Whilst holding a light weight in each hand, practice shadow boxing (tutorial here) for 30 seconds before dropping the weights and continuing to shadow box unencumbered for a further 30 seconds. |
EQUIPMENT |
3kg weights (or adjust according to your strength). |
