IBO super-bantamweight champion, Liam Davies, is currently in fight week ahead of his world title clash with Shabaz Masoud.
iGD Sport caught up with him to talk about the fight and what he makes of his opponent...
What do you make of your opponent, Shabaz Mamoud?
"He's unbeaten. They're saying he's the next best thing, so that's why I want to fight him and prove I'm the man."
How does it feel to be fighting in Birmingham?
"It's amazing. My last fight there was my biggest win. I won the IBO world title, and now I'm going back there to defend it.
"I also had my pro debut in Birmingham, so it's become a second home to me, and I ain't lost one yet there, so long may that continue."
Have you changed anything ahead of the fight?
"No, because when something works, you don't change it. I'm a big believer in that, so I make sure I just stick to what I do."
Are you expecting an early knockout win?
"I know what I've got to do now as I've been here and done it before, and I just make sure I do it to my best ability.
"Last year, I had 100% knockout ratio. This year I've had one win, one knockout, so I'm coming to make it two years on the bounce with a 100% knockout ratio.
"I fully, generally, do believe that I will knock him out."
